How it Works

The SideStripe widget enhances your search by giving you information from your friends during your search. As an example, let's say that you are thinking about buying a new car, and are interested in the Acura MDX. You go and search on Google and find links to websites that have information about cars. Let's look at the search results..
Your standard Google results give you links to websites (such as Acura's website). They also have Sponsored Links along the top and right side that give advertising (which are highly biased). At the fourth position is the SideStripe Widget. It provides you with a taste of the social results that your friends have provided. See our example below or sign up now.

The SideStripe search on Facebook gives you the best way to search for information on Facebook. Now longer will you only find information about your social networking groups, or random profiles. Now you can get useful information. For example, let say that I am looking for some information on wine for a local even that I am going to attend. I can simply type in my search for wine in the SideStripe application on Facebook and see all sorts of useful information from my friends. I can even contact my friends and get answers to questions.
